The structure was built at the foot of Pinar Dad where the slope was flattened by the removal of soil. Thus, the building rested against the mountain, and the smoothed natural rocks served as walls. The latrine (toilet) is located on the southern side of the structure. It was altered and had new sections added at various times during the Roman and Byzantine periods. For example, the room in the south paved with mosaic was added on in the 5th century. According to an inscription, both P.
